Fizzfest: Festival Celebrating Bubblies Debuting at Halifax Seaport Cider & Beerfest This Week

Halifax Seaport Cider & Beerfest

A carbonated event, Fizzfest, celebrating all things bubbly will debut at the annual festival dedicated to beers, and ciders. Festival goers will get to enjoy premixed cocktails, seltzers, ciders, mixed drinks, and refreshing sodas from vendors across Canada.

In addition to ‘ready to drink’ fizzy drinks, the outdoor drink fest taking place on the Halifax Waterfront will feature over 300 local and international beers and ciders.

 

 

The Halifax Seaport Cider & Beerfest and Fizzfest will offer four festive and fun filled sessions over three days from Thursday, August 4 to Saturday, August 6, 2022.

Local Halifax artist, DJ Loukas Stilldrnk will be spinning music of the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s all weekend and there will be delicious food available onsite by Asado Wood Fired Grill, Jamdouns Jamaican Food Truck and King of Donair.

The festival is for ages 19 and over and will take place rain or shine.

Halifax Seaport Cider & Beerfest & Fizzfest

What: Celebrating its 14th year, the festival will feature over 300 local, regional, and international beers, ciders, and ‘ready to drink’ fizzy drinks, including pre-mixed cocktails, sodas, and seltzers.

When: Thursday, August 4 to Saturday, August 6, 2022.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening sessions take place from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. and the Saturday afternoon session takes place from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

How Much: Advance tickets for Thursday evening are $35 per person (+ applicable fees & taxes) and advance tickets for Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening are $40 per person (+ applicable fees & taxes). All tickets are $10 extra if purchased at the door (+ applicable fees & taxes).

The popular VIP option is available for each session. VIPs receive a souvenir glass and access to the festival floor a full hour early to enjoy access to limited and specialty products in addition to all regular offerings.

VIP tickets are only available in advance at $45 per person for Thursday and $50 for Friday and Saturday sessions (+ applicable fees & taxes).

A portion of net event proceeds go directly to Adsum for Women and Children, a charity organization offering shelter, housing and programs to women, children, youth and transgender persons who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
