Mandarin Restaurants is set to celebrate Canada Day and its 45th anniversary by offering a free buffet meal at all 30 of its locations throughout Ontario.
This special event is scheduled for July 1, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m., on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons will not be able to make reservations for this day.
During the event, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy Mandarin’s award-winning all-you-can-eat buffet, which features over 100 dishes. These include Chinese-Canadian cuisine favorites and exclusive dishes prepared for Canada Day, like Maple Glazed Salmon and Canadian Pizza. The buffet will also include a variety of stations, such as a hot foods and grill table, a soup and salad bar, a prime rib counter, sushi corner, and a desserts counter, which features an ice cream sundae and frozen yogurt bar.
Complimentary beverages such as soft drinks, tea, and coffee will be provided to diners.
The event marks a significant milestone for Mandarin, which opened its first restaurant in Brampton in 1979. Today, the chain boasts more than 2,500 staff members and 150 managing partners. James Chiu, President and Co-Founder, says in a news release that the free buffet is a gesture of thanks to the patrons who have supported the restaurant over the years, helping it become a place for creating cherished memories.
