Canada’s Wonderland is opening its 2026 season on May 3, and this year brings a mix of ride changes, new entertainment, and park-wide updates.

The DareDeviler takes over a classic ride

One of the biggest updates is the transformation of Flight Deck into The DareDeviler. The inverted coaster keeps its signature intensity but adds new trains, vest-style restraints, and track refinements for a smoother ride. The theme now leans into early aviation storytelling. There is also a themed DareDeviler IPA planned for summer, adding a small but notable twist to the experience.

Upgrades across familiar rides

AlpenFury returns after its debut season. The park’s longest, tallest, and fastest launch coaster; it sends riders through a double launch and nine inversions, continuing to anchor a lineup of 18 coasters.

Beyond headline rides, several family attractions are getting attention. Several classic attractions have been refreshed. Planet Snoopy rides now have updated paint, while Character Carrousel features new flooring. Flying Eagles has been restored, and Swing of the Century now allows side-by-side seating for families. Sledge Hammer is getting new pumps, and Minebuster continues retracking with 980 feet of new track, though both will open later in the season.

Events stretch across the full season

The calendar starts with a passholder preview on May 1, followed by fireworks on May 17, July 1, and September 6. Splash Works opens May 23. Brew & BBQ runs June 6–7, 13–14, and 20–21. Celebration Canada takes place July 1–5, and KidZfest runs July 22 to August 2.

Other favourites like Oktoberfest, Halloween Haunt and WinterFest will also return in the fall.

New shows and food options

Canada’s Wonderland introduces new live shows for 2026, including The King’s Banquet, a cirque-style performance with acrobatics and fire acts, Watchtower, a comedic stunt-dive show with aerials and high dives, and Retrospect, a music-driven summer celebration. Returning acts like Victoria Falls High Divers and PEANUTS shows continue, offering entertainment for all ages throughout the season.

Food additions include Choco Crispy Bites Funnel Cake, Donair Kabobs at Lazy Bear Lodge, Wonder Rush Coca-Cola Freestyle blend, and tanghulu fruit skewers at the redesigned Sweet Spot.

The former Sweet Shoppe has been upgraded, and a ninth Coca-Cola Refresh Centre opens in KidZville near the Maple Park Treehouse.

New chaperone policy

Guests aged 15 and under must be with a chaperone aged 21 or older after 4 p.m. Each adult can supervise up to 10 guests aged 15 or younger per day. The change is aimed at maintaining a safe and manageable environment as the park heads into a busy season.

Canada’s Wonderland offers Silver Passes with unlimited visits through Labour Day, including Splash Works and summer events. Gold Passes provide year-round access, including Halloween Haunt, WinterFest, and entry to regional Six Flags parks.

Day Pass starts at $45, and Silver Pass is now $89 plus fees and taxes.
