Jurassic Kingdom is returning to Canada this summer, bringing more than 40 life-size animatronic dinosaurs to three cities.

The tour begins in Ottawa at Wesley Clover Parks from June 26 to July 12. It then moves to the Greater Toronto Area, setting up at David Dunlap Observatory in Richmond Hill from July 23 to August 10. The final stop is Montreal at RécréoParc from August 21 to September 7.
The experience is designed as a walk-through trail, where dinosaurs move, roar, and react with lifelike detail. Tails sway, jaws open, and heads turn, giving each display a sense of motion rather than stillness. Along the way, informational panels explain each species, blending entertainment with learning.
According to spokesperson Naz Kabir, the focus is on making the experience engaging and educational, especially for families with young children.
There is more beyond the dinosaur trail. Visitors can explore a fossil dig pit, try ride-on dinosaurs, and enjoy activities like face painting and inflatables. Food and merchandise are also available.
The outdoor event runs daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with timed entry slots and space for up to 7,000 visitors each day. Tickets start at $25 for adults and $20 for children aged three to 15 on weekdays.
For another alternative, Canada’s Dinosaur Park offers a drive-through experience along Highway 7 near Peterborough. Visitors can explore more than 100 life-size animatronic dinosaurs without leaving their car, alongside hundreds of live reptiles, including alligators, crocodiles, snakes, turtles, and lizards. The park provides a different way to experience prehistoric life, especially for families looking for a more relaxed and accessible outing.
