Get ready to celebrate Filipino culture with colourful performances and delightful eats this weekend.
Fun Philippines Toronto Street Festival is returning for a second year after a successful debut last summer. The festival is organized by the Philippine Legacy and Cultural Alliance (PLACA), a not-for-profit group.
The festival will showcase the Asian country’s culture through a variety of food and artisans lining up a 1 km stretch of Bathurst St.
In addition, there will be plenty of free cultural programs, games and street activations such as street basketball, carnival rides, flash mobs, and more energizing to delight the whole family.
This highly anticipated event will feature an incredible lineup of performances, including the likes of David Pomeranz, ABBA Revisited, Keep the Faith – Bon Jovi Tribute Band, and many other talented artists.
When it comes to satisfying your taste buds, Fun Philippines has you covered. From Porkie’s Chicharon to CHEF COCOY’s delectable pork BBQ, lechon, kare-kare, sisig, dinakdakan, and kilawin, there’s a wide array of food vendors to explore.
