Sylvan Lake, Alberta, is a lovely town situated on a lake of the same name. As expected, there are plenty of water activities at Sylvan Lake to enjoy. Camp near the Lake
Enjoy a weekend of camping at Jarvis Bay Provincial Park bordering the lake. There is no direct access to Sylvan Lake from Jarvis Bay Provincial Park. Enjoy hiking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing here.
Lakeside Go-Karts and Mini Golf
Another great place for kids to enjoy the sun is Lakeside Go-Karts & Mini Golf. Maybe you’ve had enough of the water, or maybe it’s one of those not-so-nice summer days, whatever your reasoning, you and your kids will have a blast at Lakeside. WIth 18 holes of mini golf as well as an amazing go kart track, Lakeside Go-Karts and Mini Golf will have all who attend competing for top bragging rights and laughing the whole way!

Splat Masters is what they call the kids (ages 5-10) paintball at Sylvan Lake Paintball. Shoot your way to ultimate bragging rights and ultimate fun. Sylvan Lake Paintball is the longest running paintball course in central Alberta, with safety being top priority and fun being a close second.

Centennial Park
Wide open spaces should be a birthright of every Canadian child. Living in one of the largest yet least populated countries in the world does come with some advantages. One of which is the amount of open park and areas to play in. Centennial Park is a large Municipal Park located right on the shores of Sylvan Lake. At Centennial Park you will find large green spaces perfect for a game of frisbee or tag. There are also plenty of picnic tables for a mid-day meal, as well as a children’s playground. Kids of all ages can come to Centennial Park and have a great time.
