At the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve, you can experience a unique and amazing tour atop the beautiful forest canopy.
Haliburton has the world’s longest Canopy walkway, 10-20 meters above the forest floor.
You can explore the stunning forest from a different perspective as you experience the beauty of the forest 65 feet in the sky.
This thrilling guided adventure has four different activities, starting with a short drive from the camp through the forest to a lake.
You will cross the lake, paddling a canoe to the other side. A guided walk along the Pelaw River Rapids will follow the canoe tour.
Before you reach your destination, you will be taken for a relaxing walk on the forest trails. Since this is a guided tour, the guides will be with you the entire time to answer any questions about the forest or provide any assistance.

The guides will introduce you to the equipment and go over any precautions. They will also explain and demonstrate how to use the equipment.

The walkway is built among the treetops and spans over half a kilometre. The views from up here are breathtaking. You can see the entire forest, with its lush trees and shimmering blue lakes. You will have incredible 360-degree picturesque views on this one-of-a-kind canopy tour.

What: Go on a breathtaking journey across Haliburton Forest that includes a scenic drive through a forest, a canoe tour across a wilderness lake, a guided walk along the Pelaw River Rapids and a walk high above the ground through the treetops and via a half-a-kilometre-long canopy boardwalk.
