At the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve, you can experience a unique and amazing tour atop the beautiful forest canopy.
Haliburton has the world’s longest Canopy walkway, at a height of 10-20 meters above the forest floor.
You can explore the stunning forest from a different perspective. It will feel as though you’re walking in the clouds as you experience the beauty of the forest 65 feet in the sky.
This thrilling guided adventure begins at the base camp and includes a short drive from the camp through the forest.
Two large canoes, almost 20 feet long, will be waiting for you at the lake. Once you are seated inside them, you can begin your fun, paddling journey across the lake to the other side. This is an exciting group effort for the entire family or friend group. You can also enjoy a guided walk along the Pelaw River Rapids.
Before you reach your destination, you will be taken for a relaxing walk on the forest trails. Since this is a guided tour, the guides will be with you the entire time to answer any questions about the forest or provide any assistance.
