Calgary 
Greta Van Fleet will bring its rock sound to Calgary next summer, with the band set to headline a Calgary Stampede concert at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
The show is scheduled for Thursday, July 8, 2027, at 7 p.m., ahead of the 2027 Calgary Stampede, which runs July 9 to 18.
The concert brings a band to Calgary that has seen its audience expand considerably from its early days in Michigan. Greta Van Fleet began playing small rock bars in Detroit and Saginaw, along with informal concerts in the forests near home. Within three years, the group had moved on to headlining shows across five continents.
The band has since sold more than one million concert tickets worldwide, with performances taking it from those early Midwestern venues to stages including Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater and stadiums in Italy.
That rapid transition from small hometown shows to international touring also informed the band’s album The Battle at Garden’s Gate, released on April 16, 2021.
Tickets go on sale to the public Thursday, October 15, at 10 a.m. MT. A pre-purchased concert ticket also includes admission to Stampede Park on the day of the show.
