California-based Filipino grocery chain Seafood City is marching ahead with massive expansion plans in Canada. The first Canadian store opened in September 2017 in Mississauga. There is another store in Winnipeg with a fourth one expected to open in Edmonton soon.

Seafood City is famous for meat, isles of uncut fresh fish, smaller size fish and meat cuts for Asian, Filipino dishes, and specialty Asian ingredients in addition to Asian produce.
You can also get items like Monde butter coconut biscuits in the grocery isle and, Tropical Mango cream dessert at their restaurants.

The market features three in-house restaurants serving authentic Filipino food — Grill City, Crispy Town and Noodle Street.
Do not know what to do? Try BBQ skewers, Crispy Smelts/Chicken Skins with Pamana vinegar at Grill City, Siomai Pork-and-shrimp, Mami Hot Pot and Chili pepper wonton at Noodle Street, Turon, a banana egg roll or better still get a crispy platter at Crispy Town.
