Groupe Nordik, who is behind Nordik Spa-Nature in Chelsea, the largest thermal spa in North America, will be constructing its fourth spa in Canada in the award-winning development of Harmony.
Harmony is a residential community at the foot of the Rocky Mountains located just five minutes west of Calgary in the Municipal District of Rocky View County, Alberta. Launched in November of 2015, Harmony is Springbank’s first lake community, with 1,750 acres in size. Springbank is located just 45 minutes away from Banff and Canmore.

Harmony is projected to house more than 10,000 people, and today has a wide variety of amenities including a 40 acre recreational lake. The new thermal spa will span ten acres and will be located on the water of Harmony’s second lake. The construction of this second lake, which is about 100 acres in size, is expected to begin this year . It is also home to PGA-caliber Mickelson National Golf Club.

We’ve done our homework, travelling the world to study global wellness practices. This spa will be the synthesis of everything we’ve learned so far as well as the jumping off point for something new and truly magical,” said GroupeNordik owner Martin Paquette.
Construction of the new spa is expected to start late 2020, with a projected opening date of 2022.
Groupe Nordik is investing over 45 million dollars in this community and is expected to create approximately 400 full and part time jobs when it opens.
Groupe Nordik currently operates spas in Chelsea Quebec, Winnipeg and a third spa which is expected to open in the fall of 2020 in Whitby, Ontario.
