One of the largest light, sound and multimedia show in the world, illumi Mississauga, is opening today (September 14th).

Join them for a ‘magical and extraordinary nocturnal outdoor journey’.

illumi will take you on a dazzling journey around the world with 20 million lights and 12 universes over 600,000 square feet:

 
  • The star of the show is the wonderful Illumi Tree of Lights, a 47-meter light structure . It has 44,000 interactive luminous spheres that glow brightly. A village with a colourful forest surrounds this Tree of Lights.

Illumi Mississauga

  • The Cavalia horse display has over 200 beautiful, glittering horses which were inspired by Cavalia’s famous white show-horses. Watch real Cavalia horses move1 around gracefully to music composed by Michel Cusson.
  • Enter the icy world of The Infinite Poles and discover a forest of stalagmites inhabited by adorable penguins, wonderful whales and Igloos.
  • At the Happiest Farm discover the greatest traditions of Canada under a canopy of maple leaves. The leaves are in hues of red and orange. Explore rural Canada with its barns, chicken coop and farm animals. Dance to folk music around a bonfire and later enjoy treats from the Cavalia Farm.
  • The Magical Lantern universe has beautiful arches with flowers and a pagoda. You will find cute pandas on bamboo shoots. Meet soldiers and a cavalry in this universe. Admire the koi fish which are guarded by an Imperial dragon.
  • Take a trip around Europe at the Europea Place. They have a merry-go-round square, carousel horses and music.
  • Admire the glamorous lifestyle at The Glamorous boulevard. This make-believe neighbourhood will take you on a journey from America to Pisa, Toronto, Rio and Montreal. It has fancy bungalows and Hollywood movies and sports stars. See the tallest tower in the world at The Glamorous Boulevard.
  • The Kid’s Paradise is every kid’s dream with larger-than-life cakes, ice cream cones, candies, doughnuts and lollipops. They even have a massive gingerbread house.
  • In The Land of Frost meet reindeers with antlers. The night sky is adorned with snowflakes and stars and the land has pretty, glowing crystals. Meet snowmen and visit the house of elves decorated in holiday colours.

Illumi Mississauga

  • Meet giant red Tarantulas in The Scarlet Spiders universe. There are 250 glittering spiders.
  • The Tunnel of Love is a 65-meter long tunnel of lights that create something magical as you pass through it.
  • The Colorful Animal Kingdom has elephants from the Sahara Desert, genies from magic lamps, flying carpets, camels, and a garden for giants. At the souk the peasants are performing the baladi.

You can save 75% on tickets if you purchase tickets for a visit between September 14-25th. General admission costs $9.98 for adults, $8.89 for seniors and $7.48 for children.

Regular prices are 19.95 for adults, $17.95 for seniors and $14.95 for children. Illumi runs until January 8, 2023.
