The show blends classical music with advanced visual technology, transforming the 115-year-old church into a dynamic environment of sound and light.
Created by the Swiss art collective Projektil and co-produced by Fever, the 30-minute performance reimagines Antonio Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” through projection mapping and immersive sound design. Each movement, spring, summer, autumn, and winter, is paired with choreographed visuals projected onto the church’s vaulted ceilings and architecture, turning the space into a living artwork.
Enlightenment has previously drawn more than 1.5 million visitors in cities such as Liverpool, Madrid, Zurich, and Marseille, and is now set to bring its international success to Toronto audiences.
The installation uses precise architectural mapping to ensure seamless projections that integrate with the church’s historic interior. The result is a visual and auditory experience that connects art, technology, and spirituality in equal measure.
The Toronto presentation, located at 630 Spadina Avenue, will run for a limited engagement. Tickets start at $26.90 for adults and $19.90 for children, with free admission for kids under five.
