To qualify, positions needed to offer wages above the national median of $67,400, show growth in job availability and include remote or hybrid work options in at least 10% of listings.
Key trends include the dominance of engineering roles, a resurgence in sales positions, and an increased demand for educational and specialized roles. Six engineering positions made the list, including civil, electrical, and structural engineers. Civil and electrical engineering jobs, in particular, had the highest requirement, reflecting growing infrastructure needs.
Sales roles gained prominence, with outbound sales representative taking the top spot. Regional sales manager and director of sales and marketing also appeared, marking a rebound in sales job availability since the downturn following their 2022 peak.
Education-related roles, such as director of education and associate dean, also featured prominently. Specialized positions, including nurse practitioner, fleet manager, and chief financial officer, rounded out the list. Notably, nursing jobs remained the most widely available among specialized careers.
