Over 500 restaurants across the nation are set to participate, offering unique pizza creations that showcase culinary innovation from May 1 to 7.
This nationwide event, supported by People Mover Technologies Inc., Saputo, and exclusive delivery partner DoorDash, invites both chefs and pizza enthusiasts to explore new flavours and connect over their love for pizza.
This year’s event will also see a new partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where $1 from each pizza sold will be donated to the charity. This initiative underlines the community-focused spirit of La Pizza Week, allowing participants to support a good cause while enjoying diverse pizza offerings.
During the week, participating restaurants will introduce limited-edition pizzas specifically crafted for the event, encouraging chefs to experiment and push culinary boundaries.
The festival not only highlights creativity in the kitchen but also supports local restaurants by boosting visibility and orders, particularly through the partnership with DoorDash.
La Pizza Week is the brainchild of Na’eem Adam and Thierry Rassam, creators of popular Canadian food festivals like Le Burger Week and La Poutine Week.
Customers are invited to join in the festivities by trying the innovative pizzas, sharing their experiences on social media, and voting for their favourite creations on the event’s website. Participants can earn “YUM” points, which can be redeemed for pizzas or used to enter a contest to win DoorDash gift cards valued between $100 and $500.
The list of participating eateries in each city will be revealed before May 1st.
