Asessippi Ski Resort, nestled in the picturesque Asessippi Valley, transforms into a magical winter haven offering more than just skiing.

While it may not rival the Rockies, Asessippi is an ideal place for those in the region to enjoy winter sports. The resort boasts 200 acres of skiable terrain, offering 26 diverse ski runs for all skill levels, two terrain parks, and a tubing park for exhilarating fun.

The winter season kicks off on December 13th, 2025, marking Asessippi’s 27th anniversary. There is a range of activities to be enjoyed, including snowshoeing for a serene adventure and snow tubing for a fun, equipment-free experience. This season, snow tubing costs just $25 (plus taxes) for a whole day. Tubing is made easy with a 650 ft. Magic Carpet and three lanes provide helmets and tubes for safety and convenience.

The resort also offers snow biking, an exciting blend of skiing and biking, complete with introductory lessons.

Night skiing adds an enchanting dimension to the experience, with well-lit runs offering a unique way to enjoy the slopes. Late-night skiing and boarding is now open until 10 pm on select Fridays.

Sign up for the annual Get Amped competition taking place on December 20th at 1 pm. This high-energy action takes place at Robin’s Run Terrain Park.

The 27th season at Asessippi is filled with events like the Cabin Dinner on December 27 & 28, a rustic experience complete with a snowmobile ride and gourmet meals, and a family-friendly New Year’s Celebration on December 31st featuring fireworks and special dinners.

The resort caters to adaptive skiing, with specialized equipment and trained instructors, which enables people with reduced mobility to experience the thrill of skiing.

The Bears’ Den and O’Lifty’s Pub N’Grub provide a range of dining options.

If you are planning a getaway, the resort collaborates with local accommodations like The Russell Inn and Jolly Lodger for those seeking a stay-and-ski package.
