Get to Markham to enjoy one of the tastiest festivals in GTA.
Taste of Asia lights up Markham’s summer season with dazzling cultural performances and foodie delights!
You can enjoy everything from wonky, tasty creations to live entertainment.
Closing down Kennedy Road between Steeles Avenue and Denison Street, the iconic festival fills the street with three-day non-stop festivities.
The festival will live stream the National Remembrance event in the Senate of Canada Chamber on the 100th anniversary of enacting the Chinese Exclusion Act in Canada from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 23.
You can enjoy various cultural performances and live entertainment from June 23 to 25.
This year, you can expect over 150 food vendors, from donuts to bubble teas and unique Asian-inspired food fusions.
The festival was first introduced in 2003 to boost the local economy after the SARS epidemic, promote Canada’s multicultural mosaic, and create harmony between various cultural groups.
