McDonald’s Canada is introducing a new permanent lineup of cold drinks at participating restaurants across the country, putting beverages at the centre of its latest menu expansion.

The rollout includes McCafé Crafted Sodas, Refreshers and Cloud Iced Coffees, with drinks featuring flavoured cold foam, popping pearls and freeze-dried fruit toppings. The company says the new menu is designed to offer more variety while keeping beverages as a long-term focus.
Annemarie Swijtink, president and CEO of McDonald’s Canada, described the launch as a major shift for the company, with beverages becoming a more central part of the menu experience.
At the same time, McDonald’s is bringing back its Summer Drink Days promotion from May 19 through Sept. 7. Customers can purchase $1 plus tax small fountain drinks and iced coffees in restaurants, while app users can redeem offers for any size fountain drink and small or medium iced coffee for the same price. The offer excludes flavoured iced coffee and additional toppings and is only available at participating Canadian locations.
New menu items include:
Crafted Sodas:
- Sprite Berry Bliss: A Sprite-based drink mixed with blue raspberry flavoured syrup and topped with sweet cold foam, served over ice for a bright, fizzy option.
- Orange Dream: A citrus-inspired Sprite drink blended with orange cream flavoured syrup and finished with cold foam for a nostalgic creamsicle-style flavour.
- Creamy Strawberry Coke: Coca-Cola combined with strawberry-and-cream flavoured syrup, topped with sweet cold foam for a richer soft-drink twist.
McCafé Refreshers:
- Mango Pineapple Refresher: Lemonade with mango and pineapple flavours, topped with strawberry-flavoured popping pearls for added texture.
- Strawberry Watermelon Refresher: A lemonade-based drink combining strawberry and watermelon flavours with freeze-dried strawberries over ice.
- Blackberry Passionfruit Refresher: A tart lemonade drink featuring blackberry and passionfruit flavours with freeze-dried dragonfruit pieces.
McCafé Cloud Iced Coffees: Iced coffee made with 100% Arabica beans and topped with cold foam, available in regular, French Vanilla, Sugar-Free Vanilla and Salted Caramel varieties.
