Three Canadian indie institutions are heading out together this summer, turning decades of shared history into a joint North American run.
Metric, Broken Social Scene, and Stars have announced the All the Feelings Tour, an 18-date outing that brings the longtime friends onto the same bill.
Promoted by Live Nation, the tour begins in Austin at Moody Amphitheater and moves through major cities including Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, Bend, Chicago, and Boston.
Along the way, the bands will play a series of landmark rooms such as The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Brooklyn Paramount in New York, and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The run wraps with a Toronto homecoming show at RBC Amphitheatre on August 7.
Alongside the tour news, the artists shared a new video reflecting on friendships that stretch back to childhood and have shaped each of their careers. The announcement also coincides with new music from two of the acts.
Metric revealed Romanticize the Dive, their forthcoming album due April 24 via Thirty Tigers, and released its first single, “Victim of Luck,” with an official video premiering today. Broken Social Scene followed with details of Remember The Humans, arriving May 8 on Arts & Crafts, led by the opening track “Not Around Anymore,” featuring co-founder Kevin Drew.
Tickets for the Toronto date go on sale to the general public on February 6 at 10 a.m. EST, with multiple presales beginning February 4. VIP packages will also be available through the tour’s onsale window.
