If you’ve ever wanted to walk through the Minecraft world instead of just playing it, here’s your chance.

Starting June 20, 2025, Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is coming to Square One in Mississauga — and it’s the first time this immersive event is happening in Canada.
This interactive adventure takes you through seven Minecraft-inspired realms.
Using a glowing handheld device called the Orb of Interaction, you’ll complete a mission to save a village under threat from zombies. Along the way, you’ll gather materials, solve challenges, and come face-to-face with mobs like creepers, skeletons, spiders, and more peaceful creatures like dolphins and pandas.
The event doesn’t require any experience with the game. It’s designed so anyone can jump in and explore, regardless of their familiarity with Minecraft. Participants work through tasks in groups or on their own, guided by the orb as they move through different parts of the story.

The whole thing is designed by Montreal’s Supply + Demand in collaboration with Mojang Studios and Experience MOD. It’s been a hit in Dallas and London, and now it’s making its Canadian debut.
After you’ve completed the mission, you can grab a keepsake at the in-experience Trading Post or claim a commemorative Minecraft cape to show off your victory.
The event will run for a limited time, and ticket prices start at $32.
You’ll find the experience at 199 Rathburn Rd. W. in Mississauga. Tickets officially go on sale on April 22.
