If you want to race on monster cars or in a mud-splashing race, head to Cold Lake, Alberta, for the Extreme MudFest.

Extreme Mudfest
Canada’s Largest Mud and Music Festival, which used to be held in Bonnyville, moved to Cold Lake last year and is returning to the same location of Cold Lake Agricultural Society Grounds this summer.
The eighth edition of the festival is scheduled to take place from August 17 to 20.
The 2023 edition will see Finger Eleven, James Barker Band, and The Road Hammers on stage.
If you have not heard about this popular summer festival in Alberta, here is a rundown of all the mud-flinging activities planned for this year: CMRO Mud Racing, Alberta Mud Racing (Quads), Enduro-Cross, Rock Crawlers, Lawn Mower Racing, Tuff Trucks and Mega Trucks.

Extreme Mudfest
There will also be an after-hours, a 40-team softball tournament, and an Extreme Mudrun for charity.

Extreme Mudfest
In addition, there will be Alberta breweries, distilleries and cideries onsite serving delicious brews and fares.
