KFC Canada has launched a limited-time menu in collaboration with Canadian chef and television personality Matty Matheson, with items rolling out nationwide starting January 19.

The exclusive menu blends KFC’s core fried chicken offerings with Matheson’s bold, comfort-driven style.
Prices range from two Matty Melt Sliders for $6 to the Matty Mega Melt Poutine for $10. Other items include the Matty Melt Slider, the Matty Melt Sandwich, and the Matty Mega Feast. The poutine builds on traditional curds and gravy by adding popcorn chicken and a seasoned cheese sauce.
The limited-time menu includes:
- Matty Melt Sandwich
- Matty Mega Melt Poutine for $10– topped with popcorn chicken, cheese curds, gravy, and a seasoned cheese sauce
- Matty Mega Feast
- Two Matty Melt Sliders for $6
In addition to the standard menu, KFC will release a new “secret” menu item each week through its mobile app. These Matty-approved items will only be available digitally and for a limited time.
Matheson said the collaboration focuses on amplifying familiar KFC flavours with extra layers of cheese, caramelized onions, and fried chicken. He described the menu as an opportunity to turn personal favourites into shareable offerings.
To mark the launch, KFC Canada will temporarily rebrand its flagship downtown Toronto restaurant at 1221 Dundas Street West as “Matty’s KFC” on January 26.
The location will host a public event from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with free food available. Matheson is scheduled to attend from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for photos and fan interactions.
The menu is available for a limited time at participating KFC locations across Canada and through the KFC app.
