Northlands has announced that 2020 edition of K-days will not be taking place due to COVID-19.
You will have to wait a year to enjoy thrilling rides, rockin’ music, deep-fried deliciousness of Edmonton’s biggest summer festival.
K-Days usually takes place for 10 days in mid- July.
Announcing the decision, the organizers said, “It is with heavy hearts that Northlands announces that we are postponing the 141st K-Days, scheduled to take place July 17 – 26, 2020, until July, 2021 in response to COVID-19.”
Northlands President and CEO Peter Male says the decision was incredibly difficult, “we felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are very disappointed but we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today.”
Major Edmonton festivals like Taste of Edmonton, Edmonton Folk Festival, and Edmonton Fringe Festival are also cancelled due to COVID-19.
