This launch will be accompanied by a 35-date world tour starting in May 2024, showcasing the band’s first simultaneous announcement of a new album and global tour dates.

The tour will traverse nine countries and 25 cities, featuring performances in iconic venues such as Wrigley Field, Madison Square Garden, Fenway Park, and for the first time in six years, a home show in Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena. International stages include London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the tour extending through September and concluding with a return to New Zealand and Australia in November.

“Dark Matter,” produced by the acclaimed Andrew Watt, represents the band’s latest work since the highly praised “Gigaton” in 2020. The album was conceived at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, where the band members, including Eddie Vedder, Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, and Matt Cameron, engaged in an intensive three-week session of spontaneous creation, resulting in a deeply collaborative effort.

The world tour promises a diverse lineup of opening acts, with Deep Sea Diver, Glen Hansard, The Murder Capital, Richard Ashcroft, and Pixies providing support across different legs of the tour.

Pearl Jam will be in Vancouver at Rogers Arena with Deep Sea Diver on May 4 & 6, 2024.

How to get tickets:

Pearl Jam is introducing a fan-friendly ticketing approach, including all-in pricing for North America, Europe, and the UK shows, and a Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange for North American attendees.

Tickets will be accessible via a Ten Club member-only presale and a Ticketmaster registration sale, emphasizing a fair purchasing process and combating resale issues with mobile-only and non-transferable tickets in most locations. Registration for Vancouver date is open now until Sunday, February 18 at 11:59 pm PT.

The news release states, “For fans in North America who can’t use their tickets, Pearl Jam and Ticketmaster will offer a Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange beginning at a later date to give fans the best chance to buy tickets at face value. To help protect the Exchange, Pearl Jam has also chosen to make tickets for this tour mobile only and restricted from transfer. This applies to all shows except those in Illinois and New York where non-transferability is prohibited by law. You must have a valid bank account or debit card within the country of the event(s) in order to sell through the Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange.”
