Located approximately an hour east of Toronto in Clarington (Durham Region), the farm features 11 varieties of highbush blueberries across three separate picking patches.
Pick-your-own options are available in three container sizes: 2 litres for $15, 4 litres for $30, and 8 litres for $60. Visitors must reserve tickets online in advance.
The farm also sells pre-picked blueberries in 1-litre, 2-litre, and 4-litre sizes, priced at $14.50, $29, and $58 respectively, on a first-come, first-served basis at the on-site AppleBerries Café.
Family-owned, Wilmot Orchards combines its agricultural offerings with a café experience. AppleBerries Café, located at the East Patch, serves scratch-made desserts, smoothies, and in-house blueberry ice cream, which has been produced on-site since 2022. The café also stocks a selection of blueberry-based products, such as jams, salsa, BBQ sauce, syrup, and mustard, created in partnership with Roothams Gourmet Preserves using Wilmot’s own berries and other local ingredients.
After your trip, you can head to the Samuel Wilmot Nature Area on the shores of Lake Ontario and enjoy 2.1 km of walking trails, Bond Head Park or explore the Village of Newcastle.
