The facility, announced in 2021, is scheduled to begin operations in June 2025. It is the company’s 10th worldwide and the third in North America, following centres in Atlanta and Los Angeles.
Here are the highlights of Porsche Experience Centre:
- The PEC Toronto will feature a two-kilometre handling circuit with design elements inspired by famous racetracks including Laguna Seca, Nürburgring, and Le Mans. Additional modules include a dynamics area, low-friction handling circuit, and drift circle.
- The facility will operate year-round and offer a variety of instructor-led driving experiences. Demo laps will start at $140, while 90-minute sessions with a certified instructor begin at $850. Group experiences can also be arranged and customized.
- The venue also includes a Carrera Café, Porsche Lifestyle Shop, and a simulator lab with five stations for virtual racing. The upper level hosts meeting spaces, while the lower level connects directly to the driving modules.
- The centre incorporates Canadian-sourced materials and features, including Quebec wood on the building’s exterior and a commissioned sculpture at the entrance. Sustainability efforts include geothermal heating and cooling, and photovoltaic panels supplying about 20% of the facility’s electricity.
PEC Toronto is expected to create approximately 65 local jobs. According to Trevor Arthur, President & CEO of Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd., the facility marks a significant milestone for the brand in Canada.
Reservations for the Porsche Experience Centre Toronto are expected to open shortly, with booking available for sessions starting in June.
Customers will eventually have the option to take delivery of new Porsche vehicles at the PEC Toronto. Details and pricing for this offering are expected to be released later this year. New Porsche owners in Canada will receive a complimentary 90-minute session at PEC Toronto. This offer applies to eligible vehicles delivered after January 1, 2025, and must be redeemed within two years of the invitation.
