Porter Airlines has announced the addition of Winnipeg to its expanding network, offering flights between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG).

Operating with the advanced 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, the new Winnipeg-Toronto Pearson route will not only connect the provincial capitals but also provide access to Porter’s Eastern Canada network, including Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax.
The service will commence on September 7, featuring two daily roundtrip flights.
The introductory roundtrip fares begin at $177, and the flights are scheduled as follows:

Porter Airlines says passengers can enjoy a new onboard experience that includes no middle seats, complimentary beer and wine served in real glassware, a selection of premium snacks, free, fast WiFi for every passenger, and the option for fresh and healthy meals.
Passengers can also choose the new all-inclusive PorterReserve fare option that includes features such as dedicated check-in, extra legroom, and checked baggage, included in one bundled price. These features are also available as à la carte.
The Toronto headquartered airline has up to 100 E195-E2 aircraft on order, providing the ability to operate throughout North America, including destinations across Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean. The airline also serves a regional network of more than 20 destinations on its De Havilland Dash 8-400 fleet, operating from a base at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.
