Porter Airlines is expanding its non-stop route offerings with new service between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

The daily roundtrip flight will be operated with the Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, starting on July 26.
The new route will connect with other major cities, including Toronto-Pearson, Toronto-City, New York, Halifax, Charlottetown, Moncton, and Thunder Bay through Ottawa.
The addition of this route provides more travel options for economy travellers travelling to and from Eastern Canada and British Columbia.
The director of air service development at Vancouver Airport Authority, Russell Atkinson welcomed the news stating that the new service will provide an additional option for passengers looking for access to Ottawa and beyond into Eastern Canada.
In addition to the complimentary premium snacks, beer and wine served in glassware, and free, fast WiFi, fresh, healthy meals are also provided on an all-inclusive basis with PorterReserve fares, or can be purchased à la carte for passengers travelling in PorterClassic.
This new service brings the total number of non-stop routes to and from Ottawa International Airport operated by Porter Airlines to ten as of July.
