Sarah Grey Pick Farm is taking a slower approach for spring 2026, choosing to focus on soil recovery after several seasons of intensive planting. As a result, there will be no flower picking this year. Instead, the farm will monitor the tulips’ development and share updates as the season progresses.

The decision comes despite the farm’s growing popularity. Spread across 23 acres with roughly 1.5 million tulip bulbs, the fields have become known for their sweeping bands of colour, from deep reds to soft whites. First opened to the public in 2024, the site has since evolved under new ownership into more than just a U-pick destination.

It also hosted a weekend farmer’s market that highlights local growers and artisans, adding a community-focused element to the experience. Accessibility has also been part of that evolution, with wider pathways and convenient parking designed to accommodate more visitors.

For now, the focus shifts behind the scenes. By giving the land time to recover, the farm is aiming to protect the quality of future seasons rather than rushing into another busy spring.
