- Doors Open Hamilton 2024 takes place from May 4 to May 5. Come and celebrate music in The Hammer. With theatres, churches, music schools, pubs, costume shops and a lab that researches the effect of music on the human psyche, Hamilton has it all. Many sites will have music, demonstrations, and participant interaction.
- Sew Hungry is celebrating its 11-year anniversary on May 11th, 2024 from 11am – 10pm with a line of the best food trucks along Ottawa Street North. You can expect there to be music, lots of food and drinks, beer gardens, and a kids zone.

- Christie Lake has around 10 km of multi-use trails that cyclists can enjoy. There are trails suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced cyclists and run through the south side of Christie Lake.
- On May 11, 8:00 PM witness Desire, an International U2 Tribute, captivate audiences with their passion and authenticity. Led by Tim, they deliver three decades of U2’s ‘Magnificent’ music with mesmerizing authenticity.
- Dundurn’s Historic Kitchen Garden will reopen for the season from May 18th. Explore the sights and smells of spring with a self-guided tour through the newly-planted beds. Follow kid-friendly prompts throughout the garden designed to showcase the little details of the garden as it wakes up. The Kitchen Garden will be open Tuesdays to Sundays, 12 noon to 4 pm until Thanksgiving.

- Celebrate Hamilton’s boat building history with a weekend of boat-themed family fun at the Steam Museum. Confederation Marine Modellers will demonstrate a variety of radio-controlled model boats in the park. Visitors can check out the boats sailing on the miniature pond, catch a ride on a miniature train provided by the Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers, take a tour of the museum, and create some boat-themed crafts in the hands-on activity area. Boats in the Park happens on May 25 and 26, 2024.
