Leto made the announcement after a historic climb of the Empire State Building, an iconic landmark he’s been fascinated with since childhood. The climb symbolizes the band’s belief in the power of accomplishing remarkable feats when one puts their mind to it, inspired by their recent album, “It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day.”
The tour begins in Latin America with festival performances, then moves to Europe for 28 shows across various countries. North America follows, with AFI joining them along with support from Poppy and KennyHoopla for 24 shows in major arenas and amphitheaters. The tour concludes with four arena shows in Australia and New Zealand.
The Toronto tour date is set for Monday, August 12, at the Budweiser Stage, featuring AFI and support from Poppy and KennyHoopla.
Thirty Seconds to Mars released their sixth studio album, “It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day,” and the tour’s current single, “Seasons,” explores the theme of change in life’s various seasons.
North American tickets go on sale starting November 10 with pre-sales and general on-sale beginning on November 17 at 10 am local time.
