Hey Alberta, the circus is coming to town!
From spectacular big-budget productions showcasing extraordinary showmanship that tickles the imagination to small-scale shows featuring incredible acrobats, and death-defying tricks, here is a list of all the circus shows by four companies announced in Alberta until now.
Alberta Circus Shows Schedule 2023:
1. Cirque du Soleil
Calgary will see Cirque du Soleil’s production, KOOZA, under the big top this summer. The Montreal-based company describes KOOZA as a show that combines two circus traditions — acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. And, in winter Cirque du Soleil will bring its arena show, Corteo, to Edmonton. This one-of-a-kind production, directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, promises to plunge spectators into a theatrical world of fun and spontaneity.

2. Circus Wonderland
Take the family and embark on a journey and be talented performers, dazzled by Circus Wonderland’s incredible acrobats, left in awe by lightning-fast speed juggler, and laugh along with hilarious performing clowns!

3. Royal Canadian International Circus
Royal Canadian International Circus brings artists from around the globe will entertain you for a spellbound evening with high-flying acrobatics, death-defying tricks, clowning and towering feats of strength, teetering towers of balanced bodies, extreme bending and devilishly precarious aerials. The show includes Daredevil extraordinaire Joseph Dominikon, the Wheel of Destiny, the amazing Aerialists, Trapeze, the African Bone Breakers as seen on America’s Got Talent, Globe of Death motor cyclists, speed Juggler Nilson Escobar the Dominguez Duo Crossbow, Comedy, Illusions, the TZ Ladies of the Air and more!

4. Great Benjamin Circus
Enjoy 90 minutes of non-stop entertainment by clowns, acrobats, aerialists, and daredevils from North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

5. Cirque LuzDalia
It is the first time the family show, Cirque LuzDalia, is visiting Canada. All shows are performed indoors by an international cast with performances in high flying aerialists, laugh out loud comedians, precision jugglers, agile acrobats, and more.
