The Smashing Pumpkins have announced their 26-date North American THE WORLD IS A VAMPIRE TOUR, produced by Live Nation, which will start on July 28 in Las Vegas.
The tour will feature special guests such as Interpol, Stone Temple Pilots, and Rival Sons on various dates. In addition, some of the biggest champions from the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) will be competing in most cities.
The tour has already sold out shows with a capacity of over 30,000 in Mexico City and cities across Australia. The tour is expected to expand to more countries in the future.
The band also released their new single, “Spellbinding,” which debuted during a live appearance on The Howard Stern Show. The band also announced the release date for their highly anticipated third and final act of ATUM, which will be released on May 5. Act 3 will come with a special edition box set featuring all 33 album tracks plus 10 additional unreleased songs and is available for pre-order.
The tour includes two dates in Canada with Interpol and Rival Sons: September 2 at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto and September 3 at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa.
