Lace-up those skates in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area!

Calgary has quite a few outdoor skating rinks including two fabulous ice skating trails at North Glenmore Park and Bowness Park. Now, to add to the plethora of winter fun activities available in the city, Southcentre Mall has opened two outdoor skating rinks in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area.
The skating rinks are located outside on the upper deck of the North East Parkade (near Decathlon).
There are two skating rinks available – one for leisure skating and one exclusively for playing hockey and both are available for public and private skating. Those interested in supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area can book 90-minute skating sessions Thursday & Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.starting February 3, 2022 for a minimum $2 donation.
The rinks will be open, weather depending, until March 31, 2022.
Top Deck Skating
What: Top Deck will feature two outdoor skating rinks that will be open for both public and private skating. Participate in leisure skating on one rink or play hockey on a second rink in exchange for a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area (“Big Brothers Big Sisters”).
