Spring Break doesn’t mean it’s not time to learn something new! With a cooking class, your child or teen can develop tasty new skills that the whole family will enjoy as they discover their inner master chef.
Camps at ATCO Blue Flame Kitchen
Beyond Basic Breakfasts
When it comes to the most important meal of the day, kids don’t have to stick to cereal and toast. Young cooks will learn to think beyond bacon and eggs to more complicated fare, like Southwest breakfast wraps. After cooking, they’ll get a chance to sample their new skills!
Time for Tacos
What’s better than food you eat with your hands? Kids will love the hands-on camp, learning about making tortillas from scratch to create gourmet tacos. Plus, there’s a good chance there’ll be enough left over to take home to share.
Pizza (and Flatbread) Party
Because who doesn’t like pizza? And, who doesn’t like to experiment with different sauce and topping combinations as they roll up their sleeves to make it from scratch?
Camps at Palates
Palates Kids: Netherlands

Palates Teens: French
Teens can say bonjour to elevated French cooking that’s sure to impress. From buttermilk crepes to chicken fricassee, they’ll develop skills in the kitchen they’ll love to show off.
Palates Teens: Spain
Take your tastebuds to Spain with empanadas, tapas, and patatas bravas (Spanish fries). Teens will learn that it all sounds much more difficult than it is, so they’ll be able to take their new skills home to make more!
