Bordering a 2.5-kilometre stretch of the St. Lawrence River, the Old Port is the most popular recreational tourism site in Quebec.

The Science Centre: last chance for Indigenous Ingenuity

(Re)discover the Indigenous Ingenuity exhibition, showcasing inventions of the First Peoples of North America, before it leaves for a Canadian tour on March 17. At the IMAX TELUS theatre, three movies will be screened in rotation: the popular Oceans 3D and Pandas 3D as well as the hot new release: Volcanoes 3D. More details

Catch the Natrel skating rink before the thaw

The Natrel rink joins Nuit blanche on Saturday, March 2 with a memorable evening of karaoke on ice, hosted by the flamboyant Chouchoune. On March 7, for this season’s last DJs on Ice, the Old Port welcomes Sagewondah, a.k.a. Mr. Touré! The next day, things will get hot with the last Salsafolie of the season. For families, the Natrel Rink offers an equally entertaining and economical adventure on a superb, refrigerated surface. Rentals are available at Patin Patin.

Ice Canoe Challenge

The Montreal Ice Canoe Challenge is back for its 7th year with another original course. On March 2, more than 40 teams will compete on the waters of the St. Lawrence in an official race of the Quebec Ice Canoe Circuit. This free, quintessentially Quebec activity definitely will not leave you cold.
