Are you ready to take a surreal journey through the depths of hell, purgatory, and heaven?

Divina Dalí
Experience a surreal adventure as La Girafe en feu brings together the works of two artistic giants in an exhibition that promises to take visitors on a transcending experience into the world of Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy as seen through the eyes of Salvador Dalí.
Divina Dalí is set to showcase over 100 original works of art by Dalí, curated by his friend and official archivist Frank Hunter, as well as a few pieces inspired by him created by contemporary Canadian artists Peter Triantos and Lisabel.
Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in three imaginary worlds: Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven, where they can experience the essence of Dalí’s explosive imagination and the profound influence of Dante’s literary masterpiece.
The exhibit will take place at Brookfield Place, a building designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, who shares a passion for art and ancestry in Spain with Dalí.
Aside from Dalí’s original works, the exhibit will also feature never-before-seen photographs of the artist taken by his agent, Robert Descharmes, as well as a rare piece of art created in collaboration with Alfred Hitchcock for the 1945 film, Spellbound.
According to Félix Bélanger, CEO and Creative producer of La Girafe en feu, the exhibit aims to share a more intimate and often overlooked dimension of Dalí’s creative body of work and inspire local artists to continue his legacy. Curator Raynald Michaud will also unveil a monumental piece created by Dalí in 1945 that has never been exhibited until now.
Tickets are available at regular rates at $33.50, with discounts for students and groups of eight or more. The exhibit runs from April 13th to May 28th, 2023. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the fantastical worlds of Dalí and Dante and experience their timeless genius firsthand.
