Panmure Island Annual Pow Wow

The Annual Mawiomi on Panmure Island is a rejoicing of life through feasting and dancing to the “Heart Beat of Mother Earth,” which is represented in the Sacred Drum. The Pow Wow will end on Sunday evening with a traditional Mi’kmaq Feast, open to the public for a donation. Pow Wow attendees are able to camp for free, use serviced washrooms and enjoy spending time on one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island.

PEI Ploughing Match & Agricultural Fair

Prince Edward Island is well-known for its agriculture, and the town of Dundas has taken full advantage of that with an annual agricultural fair and a ploughing match!
