The Military Museums‘ Summer Skirmish Festival is returning this weekend.
Step into the past on August 26th and 27th for an immersive experience of nearly 2000 years of warfare at the weekend battle re-enactments and demonstrations.
Summer Skirmish promises a journey through time with captivating displays such as Viking raids, medieval duels, gladiatorial combat, musketry skills, and cannonades.
Immerse yourself in history as participants don period costumes and uniforms, bringing the past to life. The event will feature a wide range of attractions including Gladiatorial Combat, Musketry, Medieval Duels, Cannonades, Jousting, WWI & WWII Combat, Viking Raids, and more.
For young attendees, the event offers an educational opportunity to learn survival skills from different eras and witness battlefield tactics.
Among the participating groups are the Yankee Valley Yankees Historical Society, Lethbridge Medieval Club, Guns of the Golden West, Sons of Fenrir, and many others. Additionally, vendors offering products like Tarot readings, jewelry, armour, and unique crafts will enhance the experience.
