Red Bull Outliers, Canada’s biggest Hard Enduro competition, is back this weekend.
Red Bull Outliers is a unique and thrilling event which is free to attend which sees over 250 riders from across the globe racing in Calgary and Alberta Badlands terrain.
Red Bull Outliers is the fourth stop of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, a prestigious six-round series held across the globe. Athletes, spanning professionals to amateurs, are primed to conquer the extreme multi-discipline trials.
The excitement will unfold across two distinct venues – Calgary’s bustling downtown core and the rugged Canadian Badlands. The action-packed spectacle commences with an invigorating prologue at downtown Calgary’s Olympic Plaza, where 126 riders will vie for the fastest lap on a custom-built street track.
Day two sees 302 riders transition to the iconic Canadian Badlands for the main event, navigating intricate terrains and racing from checkpoint to checkpoint, each presenting its own unique challenges. The course, characterized by steep climbs, unforgiving off-camber sections, and tough descents, will put riders’ skills and endurance to the test. FIM Hard Enduro World Championship‘s stop in Alberta’s Badlands is billed as the hardest Hard Enduro in Canada.
Canadian Trystan Hart, last year’s Pro Category runner-up, is determined to secure victory on home soil. A Red Bull KTM athlete, Hart is emerging as a strong contender in the 2023 series, showcasing his prowess.
