The 7th Annual Taste of the Middle East Summer Festival is set to immerse Toronto in a vibrant showcase of Middle Eastern heritage and culture this weekend.

From July 5 to 7, the iconic Nathan Phillips Square will come alive, echoing the ambience of Middle Eastern streets and souks.
Diverse performances from the Arabic community will lend an electrifying energy to the festival.
It begins on Friday evening with a candle lighting ceremony for Gaza and South Lebanon, followed by multiple shows including a saxophonist and tabla performance, and ends with a series of themed musical vibes. Saturday features diverse acts such as a Dabke dance, an abaya competition, and talents from Toronto, culminating in Lebanese vibes. Sunday continues the festivities with morning shows, a Palestinian wedding performance, a sponsor showcase, and an evening sword show, concluding with Iraqi vibes. Each day blends traditional and contemporary Middle Eastern culture.
The festival promises a mouthwatering culinary journey through the Middle East, where attendees can savour regional delicacies. In addition, visitors will also have the opportunity to appreciate Middle Eastern visual art forms and shop from various vendors.
