Ontario Health Coalition reported that residents of more than a dozen long-term care homes and almost 100 health care workers in Ontario are infected with COVID-19.
The Ontario Health Coalition has been tracking the number of residents and staff infected with COVID-19 in long-term care homes as well as the number of health care workers who have contracted the virus. The coalition says that the number is increasing significantly since last week.

- Markhaven Home for Seniors in Markham
- Hillsdale Terraces Long-Term Care Home in Oshawa
- Promenade Retirement Residence in Orleans
- Maplewood Retirement Community in Ottawa
- Promenade Retirement Residence in Ottawa
- St. Joseph’s at Fleming in Peterborough
- A retirement home in Renfrew County
- A long-term care home in London Region
- Hillside Manor Long Term Care Home in Stratford
- Landmark Village in Sarnia
- Grafton Gage Village in St. Catharines
- Seven Oaks long-term care home in Scarborough
- St. Clair-O’Connor Nursing Home in Toronto
- Kensington Gardens in Toronto
- Seasons Welland in Welland
According to the Ontario COVID-19 website, currently, there are 1,966 positive COVID-19 cases and 33 related deaths. Ontario website does not report number cases in long term care homes.
