Forbes says the evaluation of Canada’s 300 Best Employers was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees that were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their employers to friends and family. Employee evaluations also included other employers in their respective industries that stood out either positively or negatively.

I have worked for the Upper Canada District School Board. They must’ve had every single board employee email bomb Forbes. There’s absolutely zero way any of the real employees voted this way. No teachers, education assistant, secretaries, custodians – anybody that really matters would never ever ever ever ever consider UCDSB to be a good employer.
