Lakeland Flowers is back at it again, presenting the inaugural Abbotsford Summer Flower Festival – a floral fiesta like no other! After the resounding success of the Abbotsford Tulip Festival, they’ve outdone themselves by creating the largest summer floral experience in the Lower Mainland.
From July 21st to September 4th, 2023, flower enthusiasts of all ages can frolic through an astounding 45 acres of blooming beauty. Brace yourselves, for this festival boasts not just one but THREE awe-inspiring focal points!
Step into a fragrant wonderland as you stroll through the lavender fields. Prepare to be enchanted by the dreamy lavender fields, where the delicate fragrance of Provence and English lavender will transport you to a lavender lover’s paradise.
Prepare to be sunflower-struck as you venture into 20 acres of sunflower heaven. With over a million sunflowers flaunting 30 different varieties, it’s like entering a sunflower galaxy! Don’t miss the chance to strike a pose at the numerous photo spots – from raised wagons and canoes to tractors and swings – it’s a playground for flower fanatics and selfie lovers alike.
The final stop on this floral adventure is a 10-acre meadow of phacelia pastels and a sea of white buckwheat, all complemented by a dazzling array of feature flowers. Snapdragons, Black-Eyed Susans, coneflowers, Woodland Sage – you name it, they’ve got it!
