Richmond Sunflower Festival
Be amazed at a fun stroll through the Richmond Sunflower Festival! Spread across 20 acres, it showcases 90+ varieties of sunflowers, dahlias, and gladiolas. Activities include exploring the vibrant fields, capturing photos with a flower wagon, and savouring treats from food trucks. Notable additions are Thursday evening yoga in the Dahlia fields and wine tasting at Country Vines. Fresh berries and corn are available at Richmond Country Farms Market until 8 pm.

Harrison Sunflower Festival
Formerly known as the Chilliwack Sunflower Festival, the event has rebranded as the Harrison Sunflower Festival and relocated to Agassiz near Harrison Hot Springs. Opening around August 22nd, this festival offers a picturesque backdrop with Mount Cheam, spanning 20 acres of sunflowers and seasonal crops. Organized by the Onos family, pioneers of Fraser Valley agritourism, the move signifies a return to their roots, allowing expanded agritourism opportunities. Visitors can explore pathways adorned with diverse flowers, take photos with vintage vehicles and swings, and pick from five sunflower varieties. The on-site Farm Store offers flowers, souvenirs, local produce, and a daily food truck.

Campbell’s Gold
While the farm focuses mostly on bee and honey tours, they offer to have a beautiful but small sunflower patch that is worthwhile to visit! Campbell Gold is a small family-run farm and loves to host visitors of all ages! Stroll through the fields of sunflowers, take some home and don’t forget to take pictures!

Lakeland Flowers
Lakeland Flowers has been family run and operated, impressively, since 1974! Explore 45 acres of vibrant nature at this year’s festival. The event features three main attractions. First, enjoy the blooming lavender fields, including Provence and English varieties. Then, immerse yourself in 20 acres of sunflowers boasting over a million blooms, diverse varieties, a u-pick section, and picturesque photo spots. Lastly, explore a 10-acre meadow showcasing pastel phacelia, white buckwheat, and an array of colorful feature flowers like snapdragons and Black-Eyed Susans.

East Ridge Farm
East Ridge Farm has been operating since 2013, guided by the desire to produce locally grown produce and flowers – Sunflowers, Statice, Strawflowers, and Zinnias – without any nasty junk! Their sunflowers flourish in nutrient-rich soil every year in a variety of colours and variants. Visitors can go to visit, take in the sights and of course, take the beauty home.

Ocean View Estates
Located on the one-of-a-kind Saanich Peninsula, Ocean View Estates has been running since 2010, which aims to connect residents with local and fresh produce. They recently opened an exciting addition, a sunflower patch that stretches 2 acres. They even offer the chance to do yoga in the sunflowers!

Dancing Dandelion Farm
The five-acre fields of Dancing Dandelion Farm have abundant flowers and produce every year. The sustainably grown flowers sold are free of pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic fertilizers. This includes sunflowers! The farm stand is open Fridays from April through early October. Note: This is not a U-pick or a field visit farm.
