Nova Scotians’ favourite baby name for 2022 is — Oliver.

Nova Scotia’s Vital Statistics Bureau says the top 10 baby names this year are Oliver, Jack, Charlotte, Violet, William, Emma, Owen, Henry, Olivia, and Noah.
The bureau says while most popular names remain consistent over the years, a few new names are gaining in popularity.
They include names like Grayson and Beau, with old favourites Emma and Charlotte making a comeback.
Olivia was the top baby name for the province in 2021.
Nova Scotia began formally registering births on August 1, 1864, and the most popular names that year were Mary and John.
