Maclean’s has released its remote-work edition of the Maclean’s Best Communities in Canada considering the life during the pandemic and Halifax, Fredericton and St. Thomas took the top three spots.
According to Maclean’s, “communities” are Statistics Canada’s census subdivisions and they have ranked 415 communities against 9 important factors required for living and working during the pandemic – housing affordability (19 points), taxes (9 points), crime (7 points), weather (17 points), health (11 points), amenities (6 points), population growth (6 points), community involvement (7 points) and internet quality (14 points).
