On the heels of the recently increased gas bill, customers of Toronto Hydro will be hit with an average increase of $6.33 in their hydro bill.

According to Toronto Hydro, a typical residential customer consuming 750 kilowatt-hours (kWh) will experience an average increase of $6.33 or 5.4% on their total monthly bill (excludes HST and 8% Provincial Rebate).
The change is effective January 1, 2019.
