Toronto Caribbean Carnival is one of the most attended multicultural celebrations in the GTA.

Toronto Caribbean Carnival
The month-long celebrations culminate in a grand parade on August 1 along Lakeshore Blvd W in downtown Toronto.
If you cannot wait that long or want to enjoy a smaller-scale event, head to Scarborough this Saturday!
The future faces of the 59-year-old celebration will parade down McLevin Avenue and Neilson Road in colourful Caribbean costumes.
The street parade, comprising approximately 2,000 junior masqueraders in colourful costumes, will include young producers, performers, and presenters of various ages, from toddlers to teens.
This year’s Junior Carnival King and Queen will lead the parade; they were chosen from an annual contest held at Scarborough Town Centre on July 11, which allows young participants to showcase the Caribbean’s vibrant culture and rich heritage.
You can follow the parade to Neilson Park and enjoy a junior Calypso showcase, children’s amusement activities, music, a marketplace with food vendors, arts & crafts vendors, and more.
This family parade and festival are free to attend.
