Ashbridges Bay Park Victoria Day fireworks will return on May 19th, lighting up the sky with a spectacular finale.
The 14-minute show Victoria Day fireworks at Ashbridges Bay Park will begin at 10 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025.
Ashbridges Bay Park is located on Lake Shore Boulevard East at the foot of Coxwell Avenue and is readily accessible by public transit.
The display can be seen on the boardwalk from Emdaabiimok Avenue (formerly Lower Coxwell Avenue) to Victoria Park Avenue.
Toronto Police have outlined safety plans for the Victoria Day weekend in partnership with the City of Toronto. With large crowds expected, officers will patrol Ashbridges Bay on May 18 and 19, including the Mounted Unit, foot patrols, ATVs, and bike units. Fire Services, EMS, and bylaw officers will also be present.
Parking & Road Closure:
Parking enforcement will be increased, and drivers should expect significant delays due to road closures and restricted parking.
On Monday, Emdaabiimok Avenue from Lake Shore Blvd East to Eastern Avenue and Lake Shore Blvd East from Leslie Street to Queen St. East will be closed.
The city is encouraging attendees to take public transit or Bike Share as a greener, faster and more affordable way of getting to and from the festivities.
TTC Service Changes:
Per the news release, additional TTC buses will be added to the 22A Coxwell and 92A Woodbine routes.
Beginning at noon on May 19, the TTC will increase service, and 22 Coxwell buses will extend service to Woodbine Beach via Lake Shore Boulevard, connecting with 92 Woodbine South buses. Stops at Queen Street and Eastern Avenue will not be served.
Fireworks are permitted on your private property on Victoria Day until 11 p.m. City bylaws prohibit members of the public from setting off fireworks in any city park or on beaches.
Ashbridges Bay Park will also see Toronto’s largest fireworks display on Canada Day, and the Q107 Canada Day Picnic is returning on the long weekend.
