The event, set to transform Toronto for a day, has previously captivated audiences in over 20 cities worldwide.
The festivities commence at 1 PM, when attendees can explore a 2.5-kilometer route through the city, lined with a spectacular domino setup.

Volunteers will be stationed along the path to engage with participants, offering an opportunity to interact with locals and explore the area before the main event.
Find your spots at 4 p.m. to watch the exhilarating domino fall, scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. The event promises a communal celebration with the dominoes cascading through Toronto’s streets.
Alongside the domino spectacle, attendees can visit various local attractions. The West Block at 500 Lake Shore Blvd West will host an Indigenous pop-up market by Choice Properties, where attendees can purchase jewelry, clothing, and other items crafted by Indigenous entrepreneurs.
Further cultural offerings include the Softer City art exhibition at The Bentway Skate Trail at 250 Fort York Blvd. This exhibition focuses on the concept of “softness” as a means of fostering social connections within the city.
For those interested in waterfront activities, Queens Quay West provides a mix of dining, shopping, and cultural experiences. Additionally, Stackt Market at 28 Bathurst Street, constructed from shipping containers, offers a diverse cultural marketplace with shops, a microbrewery, and various community events.
There are several road closures to accommodate the event, so you will have to plan your trip accordingly.
Trip Planning – Dominoes
Dominoes brings together Torontonians in a joyful act of city-building through public art. Created by the world-renowned company Station House Opera, this larger-than-life, moving sculpture stretches across multiple downtown neighbourhoods and, over the course of a day-long epic event, unites neighbours in a common cause: setting up and setting off over 2.5 km of giant dominoes.
